The process of building public opinion is also influenced by the relationships between the political system and the mass media. In this essay we analyze the mechanisms of the voters' decisions and political communication, within the frame work of their relationship with the media. In the past, the political and mass media logics were very close and often accomplice. Nowadays, they are in contrast and it would seem the media tries to impose its discursive logic to the political system. The result is a loss of credibility for both systems. The last part of this essay deals with the attempts made by the political system to come more autonomous. These attempts are supported by an increase in communication channels, the Internet development, and the new subjects coming out in the e-politics.
